I studied at Rycotewood College, Thame, Oxford, and Bishop Lonsdale College, Derby and Birmingham School of Art Education.

Foundation studies in drawing and painting developed into a particular interest towards graphics, surface pattern and design, and various aspects of printmaking. My themes and inspirations have been varied, with strong links to the use of the visual elements.

My work has evolved over many years, stimulated by an enthusiasm to experiment, develop different approaches and to express ideas through various applications. The results of this experimentation and development are what you see here today.

Memberships include Society of Graphic Artists, Staffordshire Artists and North Staffs Guild of Craftsmen. Exhibitions include the Mall Galleries, London, Compendium and Ikon Galleries, Birmingham, Stoke Open and various small private shows and craft centres. I have recently joined Staffordshire Open Studios, which promotes the visual arts in our county.
